Basanta Paudel

Mr. Basanta Paudel is the Founding Chairman of Global Agro Products Ltd., GAP Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Global Corporate Investment Pvt. Ltd., and Global Transportation Pvt. Ltd. He also serves as a Founding Director of Global Hatchery Pvt. Ltd. and Global Birds Pvt. Ltd., contributing to the strategic growth and governance of Global Agro Group.

Beyond the Group, Mr. Paudel is the Managing Director of B. Paudel & Company, a well-established accounting, taxation, and assurance consultancy firm. He also serves as a Director of the College of Information Technology (CIT) and Maulakalika Investment Pvt. Ltd., and was a promoter of Prime Commercial Bank Ltd.

Mr. Paudel has played an active leadership role in several professional and business organizations. He has served as an Executive Central Committee Member of the Auditors' Association of Nepal and as a Committee Member of the Chitwan Chamber of Industries for several years.

Earlier in his career, he served as a Director of Kankai Development Bank, an Executive Board Member of the Development Bankers Association of Nepal, and a Financial Advisor/Consultant to Nepal's Social Welfare Council (SWC), where he was involved in evaluating the performance of national and international NGOs.

He holds an MBA in Profit Planning & Budgeting, Accounting, and Taxation from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Mr. Paudel has built extensive expertise in accounting and taxation, finance and banking, agribusiness, trading, and education.

As part of his continuous pursuit of knowledge and global best practices, Mr. Paudel has visited numerous countries, including India, Thailand, Singapore, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, the United States, Japan, Belgium, Italy, Vatican City, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Egypt, Philippines, Vietnam, Spain, Greece, Sri Lanka, Japan, Canada, Latvia, the Maldives, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, and Morocco.
